Using the tools

Our word tools are free for personal use. Please do not use automated scripts to send large numbers of requests, copy the site wholesale, or interfere with its operation.

Printable puzzles

You may print our puzzles, and puzzles you make with our word search maker, for personal, family, classroom, library and care-home use, including making copies for a group. Please do not sell them or republish them on another website.

Word data

Our word list and definitions come from openly licensed sources, credited on our About page. Those sources keep their own licenses. Results are provided for fun and convenience; we do not guarantee that a word will be accepted by any particular game or dictionary.

Not affiliated with game publishers

Word Kettle is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any word game publisher. Game names are trademarks of their respective owners and are mentioned only to describe compatibility.
